Lauren Goes For Lunch With Whitney - And a Bunch of Cameras

It's getting harder and harder to call The Hills 'reality TV' - why? Well, because it's just getting less and less 'real' by the day. We've all seen the Spencer & Heidi LAX pictures, and now heard from Gavin Beasley, who went on a date with LC and talked about how fake the whole thing - and the people - seemed.

Now these photos have surfaced - of Lauren out for lunch with fellow castmate Whitney Port...plus a whole bunch of cameramen, sound guys, boom microphones etcetera. Oh, plus multiple takes of everything.
Truth be told, I still love The Hills. I like to pretend there are never any cameras.

Gavin Beasley: "Lauren's a Conversation Killer"

In Monday's episode of The Hills, we were introduced to Gavin Beasley, a model who got Lauren's number at a shoot and consequently took her out to dinner? Well, he's got some revelations to make - and he's made them, in an interview with Best Week Ever. Following more evidence that The Hills is staged, Gavin's added his fuel to the fire, saying: "I honestly had a really hard time talking to [Lauren]. She's kind of a conversation killer, and when the cameras are rolling, all conversation is kept firmly on the surface. She talked about how mean Perez Hilton was, and how you have to be nice to the paparazzi so they don't release the uglier pictures of you. I don't know - pop culture, Red Bull, stuff like that. In fact, the most interesting thing I got out of her was that she isn't allowed to eat ice cream because her trainer told her she can't. What you see is really what you get with these people. Lots of fascinating discussion about 'the club', Vegas, getting drunk, Heidi Montag is evil, and so on. The lack of depth was actually uncomfortable for me. Like, how can nothing be everything you talk about? Oh, I forgot - lots of talk about [her] clothing line. That's pretty important, right?"

After the monologue, Gavin also had some more cutting remarks to make about Brody Jenner, Lauren's long-term friend (with, it seems, occasional benefits) - who to be fair made some pretty harsh comments about Beasley on the show. Gavin said, "The interesting thing is Brody, off camera, was a pretty chill guy. When the show came out and he was saying stuff about me - like I was short, too perfect, boring, etc., I didn't get pissed because I know that's solely done for The Hills. He creates drama and a story. That's why he's there."

Interesting comments, Gavin - but nothing we didn't particularly know already.

LC Continues to Get Cosy...with Heidi's Friends!

No, your eyes don't deceive you; that really is Lauren Conrad with Heidi Montag's boss, Brent Bolthouse, pictured left. Any avid watchers of The Hills will recognise Brent as the Bolthouse behind Bolthouse Productions.

The picture was taken recently at a Victoria's Secret party for Phi Beta Pink, which both LC and Brent attended (and were pictured hugging at) - although it's not the first time the two have crossed paths. Just last month Lauren was seen at the Intermix opening, which Bolthouse both promoted and deejayed at.

I don't know what's up with the budding friendship but one thing's for certain - it's really going to get under Heidi's skin.

Oh God. SUCH drama!
