Nick Zano's Once-Embarrassing Name

What can I say? Poor Nick Zano.

Or should I say...Nicholas Crapanzano.

Nick changed his name legally on the 31st of May this year from a frankly unflattering Nicholas Crapanzano to a more sexy, subtle, plain Nick Zano.

The clipping left was taken from the Daily Commerce legal notices, which is apparently a Hollywood favourite for announcements.

I'm not surprised it was in such small print, though.

Keep Up-To-Date With Kristin as she Undergoes Lasik Eye Surgery

Okay, so she's not looking her best. But you have to have respect for K-Cav for agreeing to be filmed without a scrap of make-up, in a rather unsexy hairnet.

Kristin's currently documenting her run-up to Lasik Eye Surgery with a section of online video clips, which you can check out here. Whether you're considering getting Lasik yourself or just want the chance to see Kristin on-screen again, the clips are amusing but also informative so I'd recommend you guys check it out.
Lauren Kanner, of Advanced Medical Optics (AMO), said, "Kristin had made the decision to have LASIK surgery and approached us with the idea of documenting her own experience as a fun way to speak to her fans and others considering the procedure...the medical industry is always looking for ways to earn the public's trust. The very nature of a reality-based program is to draw the audience in, and we thought this was an engaging opportunity for people to live the LASIK surgery experience through Kristin's eyes, not ours." Good pun.

Kristin added, "I am a person with real questions, fears, and ultimately, extreme elation with the end result. AMO gave me the freedom to tell my story, on my terms, with my own friends and family using my own cameras."

Kristin's followed by reality TV crews for one month, and they capture every moment from her doctor's visits, eye tests, the LASIK procedure itself and the aftercare visits.
The series, made up of eight episodes in total (some yet to be broadcast), also includes a blog written by Cavallari and an audiocast of the LASIK experience.
